Queride founder,

How many times have you walked into a room and felt like the only one?

We build, innovate, and lead—but too often, the world overlooks our potential.

That changes now.

In June 2024, my life took an unexpected turn.

One moment I was hiking in Pittsburgh. 

The next? 

I lost half the vision in my left eye.

Leading to surgeries, months of healing, and a summer of soul-searching.

Confronting my own mortality forced me to ask:

“If life is short and tomorrow isn’t promised, how do I want to show up for my community—right now?”

As an Indigenous Zapotec Mexican born in the U.S., I’ve always been proud of my roots.

But stepping into entrepreneurship, I realized a hard truth—while Latines are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in the U.S., we receive less than 2% of venture funding.

It’s not a pipeline problem; it’s a visibility problem.

And I want to be part of the solution.

That’s why I created Poderoso Media.

We’re not just a media company—we’re a movement.
